How to set up Microsoft Authenticator for Microsoft 365

Step 1: Download Microsoft Authenticator from the App Store. 

Step 2: Open the app.

Step 3: Select Add work or school account. 

Step 4: Scan the QR code given during Microsoft 365 sign-in, or sign in with your work account if prompted. 

Step 5: Follow the on-screen steps to finish setup. 

Step 6: Approve the test notification if Microsoft asks you to verify the app.
