How to set up Microsoft Authenticator for Microsoft 365 on Android

1. Step 1: Install Microsoft Authenticator from Google Play.  

Before installing, confirm that the publisher is Microsoft Corporation.

2. Step 2:Open the app and tap Add work or school account.  
   
   

4. Step 3:Scan the QR code or sign in directly.  
   
   

5. Step 4:If prompted, choose whether to set up passwordless sign-in by tapping Skip or Settings.
   
   

Step 5:Password–less sign in with Microsoft Authenticator is generally secure and is recommended for stronger account protection, provided the user keeps their phone secure and only approves sign-in requests they initiated.
