Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform the helpdesk duties and provide level 1 support to users
- Record helpdesk tickets and service requests and ensure that the relevant records are maintained
- Perform maintenance on computers, servers and networks outside of regular office hours, including weekends
- Verify that a backup is in place and address any errors that may be present
- Ensure that documentation, inventory and network diagram are promptly updated
- Generate weekly and monthly reports for IT services
- Provide assistance with system administration and any assigned projects
- Comply with all policies and procedures published under Information Security Management System Category
- Fulfil the requirements of Information Security Management System Standards
The ideal candidate:
- Technical expertise and knowledge in IT systems, software, hardware, and networking
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Professionalism and a customer-centric approach to provide quality support
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
