How to setup Mobile Hotspot on Android

Step 1: On your Android Phone, go to Settings Connections Mobile Hotspot and Tethering, then tap on Mobile Hotspot
Step 2: Tap on the icon, then tap on Configure Mobile Hotspot
Step 3: Enter the Network name, select the Security method, enter the Password, then tap Save
Step 4: To secure your Mobile Hotspot, you can add the trusted device. Only Allowed devices can connect your Mobile hotspot
Step 5: Turn on the Allowed devices only. Tap Add to add the allowed device.
Step 6: Enter the Device name and the MAC address, then tap Add to save the settings.

How to connect other devices to the Mobile Hotspot

Using Wifi

Step 1: Search for the Mobile Hotspot network name, enter the password to connect.

Using USB Tethering

Step 1: Turn on the USB tethering on Android phone
Step 2: Connect the USB cable from Android phone to your computer. Click Yes to allow the connection.

Using Bluetooth

Step 1: On Android phone, turn on the Bluetooth tethering
Step 2: In computer Windows Settings Bluetooth & other devices, click Add Bluetooth or other device
Step 3: On Android phone, Go to Settings Connections, turn on Bluetooth and then tap Scan
Tap the device name to pair the device
Step 4: In computer Windows, click Yes to pair the device. Connection succeeded
Step 5: At Windows task bar, click ^ to show the hidden icons, right-click the Bluetooth icon, click Join a Personal Area Network
Step 6: In Devices and Printers, right-click the paired device, select Connect using Access point
Step 7: Click Yes to connect the Bluetooth network
